This website works just like any other website does. You simply click on a video thumbnail on the main index page of an ESP/Mental-ism trick that you would like to learn more about. This will open a page dedicated to that ESP/Mental-ism trick. On that page will be much more information about the performer. A link back to their YouTube/TikTok and my own rendition video, or written tutorial of that trick that I’ve enhanced up-on, or made it much more interactive, or “Stage Performance ready”
I’m in no way saying the original performer’s trick isn’t awesome as it is, but magic is all about creating your own “Versions” And adding your own “Spin” Magic is about taking a basic idea and making your own version to captivate and wow the audience. And I fully expect my viewers to take my versions of these tricks I’ve enhanced and also make them their own! Just as I hope you allow others to do the same with your enhanced versions and not get all greedy and stupid about “Copyright Bollox” And try to claim it as your own etc.
I don’t believe it’s even logical to try and Copyright something as stupid as “The order you lay a deck of cards down on a table.” “Or putting a card in a certain order in a deck” I think it’s insane this can even be a reality. That’s as stupid as saying if I put my cup down on the table and move it 3 spaces someone has paid for the Copyright to do this? So, as you can imagine I don’t care if ANY of these tricks I’m going to post, or do a tutorial on is “Claimed to be Copyrighted” I’m still going to show it off and explain how it works. Again, I’m sorry. You cannot copyright or own legal rights to how a card is placed on a table. Unless you own the rights to “Playing Cards” I don’t want to hear it. If you can prove that someone back in the 1900’s, or before didn’t come up with that same “Pattern” Then I’ll listen… But I can assure you even if you lay claim to the “Pattern” I can assure you someone somewhere in the past was the one who actually invented that and not YOU!
With that said and done! I’m going to do my best to get this site updated regular. My main goal is to get many more popular YouTube/TikTok Magicians to join me in building this website. I’m one of the first people to do this (I’ve looked long and hard and found nothing…) And I’m hoping it takes off to the point of me helping to bring daily excitement to the magic community to help them learn and build on their craft.
